One of the main characteristics of vernacular architecture is to be a testimony of popular culture, where the use of materials and construction systems are the product of adaptation to the environment. Possibly, the best adaptation to the environment consists in the reuse and recycling of construction materials that have been previously used (or even discarded) and that allows building in a much more sustainable way.

This wall, an object found in the vicinity of the calcarenite rock quarries of Osuna (of Turdetano origin, but which served especially to build a large part of the historic buildings of Osuna from the 16th century), becomes a hymn to the decline in this time of exacerbated consumption. A call to reuse resources and against planned obsolescence.
