About two million faithful are Muslims in Spain. Within this small percentage, about 1% are shiite, not many more than twenty thousand. Since many are uprooted, several foundations organize regularly religious and cultural immersion travel to Iran, inviting members of the Spanish Shiite community to Qom, one of the most important places in the Shiite world. The aim is to study on Islam but also a kind of pilgrimage through different religious places all over Iran.
